EXPERIENCE THE BEST SOUND POSSIBLE, NO MATTER WHERE LIFE TAKES YOU

Music production used to mean being tied to a studio. Today, you can create high-quality music almost anywhere. You might come up with an idea in one place, edit tracks on the go, and mix the whole thing in yet another place. The studio is wherever you are and wherever inspiration strikes. But sound quality is always an issue. You need to know that your audio interface is performing to professional standards, while not weighing you down when you’re on the move. With the Mobile UA, you don’t have to compromise audio fidelity to be creative outside the studio.

Audiophile-Grade Sound in Both PCM and DSD Formats
The Mobile UA faithfully reproduces the finest sonic details and delivers optimal monitoring performance through all aspects of the mixing and editing processes. As a high-quality USB audio interface, it truly shines when listening to high-res sound sources. It supports both PCM (up to 352.8 kHz) and DSD (up to 5.6 MHz), and is unparalleled in offering un-dithered, un-truncated 32-bit floating point PCM audio from your DAW. And with 2.8 or 3.1 MHz DSD audio sources, you can enjoy native high-res audio playback with no resampling.
Sublime Sound Delivered by Roland’s Proprietary S1lki DSP
You’ll instantly notice the difference with the Mobile UA’s superior sound—it’s extremely smooth, provides exceptional imaging, and is devoid of any muddiness. The secret is Roland’s proprietary DSP technology called “S1LKi” (pronounced “silky”). Processes that are usually performed at the DA converter stage, such as sample rate conversion and various filter processes, are performed right in S1LKi. This enables DA conversions under near-ideal conditions, regardless of the sampling rate. Signal processing of the original file is performed optimally and with unprecedented musicality, and even 16-bit/44.1 kHz PCM files exhibit an astonishing level of sound quality.
Premium Headphone Amp with Ultra-Powerful Output
The Mobile UA’s stereo headphone amp delivers 158 mW of power on each channel, providing super-high output that produces more than enough volume, even when using high-impedance headphones. On stage and in other high dB situations, you won’t need a mixer or external headphone amp to ensure proper volume levels, giving you precise monitoring in just about any environment.
Supports a Wide Range of Music Production Applications
The Mobile UA offers four different modes of output to choose from based on your needs. This versatility is a huge advantage in music production settings. Normal two-channel mode allows two people to monitor the same audio with two sets of headphones, while four-channel mode provides two independent stereo channels, so you can use one of them for cue monitoring or a click track. Newly added in Version 2.0 is a two-channel balanced mode, which gives you a balanced stereo output for connecting to high-end devices.
Listening is Pure Joy
For simply enjoying high-res audio sources, the Mobile UA delivers excellent performance as a DA converter. It outputs DSD or PCM audio on two stereo channels, and you can interface with a variety of devices. With the new two-channel balanced mode, you’re able to connect with pro studio monitors that support balanced inputs. Alternately, you can use the Mobile UA as a headphone amp with balanced outputs. This allows you to monitor with the balanced-drive headphones popular with audio enthusiasts, creating a no-compromise audiophile listening system that travels anywhere.
Reliable Low-Latency Audio Performance
Roland’s highly acclaimed VS Streaming technology ensures low-latency operation with modern music applications. The Mobile UA makes the most efficient use of your computer’s processing power, keeping the CPU load to a bare minimum. With robust support for ASIO and Core Audio, you get the best performance with a wide variety of music production and listening platforms.
Super-Lightweight and Compact Body Fits in Your Palm
The Mobile UA fits in the palm of your hand and weighs only 130 grams, packing an exceptional level of quality into a surprisingly compact device. From the dual stereo mini-jacks that reside on each side and volume button with mute functionality to the beautifully designed high-resolution level indicators and USB bus power, the Mobile UA provides unprecedented performance anywhere life takes you.
