Optimized for kick drums and bass guitar cabinets, the Behringer C112 Bass Drum Microphone features a large metal die-cast housing, which protects the dynamic capsule and provides excellent low-frequency response. The extended low-end, high SPL, and fast transient response make it ideal for capturing kick drums and bass in both live sound and recording applications alike. The C112 features a 50 Hz to 14 kHz frequency response—wide enough to handle other instruments, such as brass, woodwind, piano, guitar, and percussion. The mic features a tight supercardioid polar pattern that helps reduce bleed from other instruments and feedback from sound reinforcement gear. The C112 includes a threaded mic mount, which makes precise positioning quick and easy.

• Place your Behringer C112 inside the kick drum and point it towards the beater and you will capture the attack as you wanted. Position the mic just inside the kick drum opening to capture more weight and less attack.
• Aim the mic directly at beater for more attack, or towards the far edge of the drum for more resonant tone—this is how you capture the best of both worlds.
