Digital Controller and Media Player

The Denon DN-SC2900 Digital Controller and Media Player is a DJ controller and multi-format player that allows you to playback audio from CDs, USB memory devices, or your Mac or PC using its included ENGINE software. Its CD deck supports CDs, CD-DAs, and CD-ROMs and the DN-SC2900 can play AAC, AIFF, MP3, and WAV files stored on external USB flash drives or hard disc drives. The included ENGINE software allows for playback and management of up to 100,000 files on your computer or USB drive without taxing its processor by leaving the audio processing to the DN-SC2900 unit. You can share the tracks from your computer or USB device with up to four networked DN-SC2900s or 3900s by connecting the units with an optional Ethernet network router. There is also an available ENGINE iPad app, giving you touch screen control of your tracks and playlists via a networked iPad.

The DN-SC2900 gives you hands on control with its touch sensitive 7″ Eclipse platter, allowing you to reverse, loop, and scratch your tracks. The Eclipse platter also accurately displays cue and playback points with its LED markers.

Featuring native support for Traktor 2 DJ software, the DN-SC2900 includes a copy of Traktor 2 LE.

Player Link function allows for sharing USB drives across multiple SC2900 / SC3900s (up to four) and for connection to ENGINE software

Prepare the perfect set in the studio or on a computer at home, then export it to a USB stick or HDD and have everything needed for your DJ performance; then simply plug and play and share one drive’s files with up to three other compatible players over a network router

Slip button allows you to reverse, loop, and scratch whilst continuing playback at the same rhythm and point that would have been reached prior to pushing ‘slip’ – an essential editing feature in the studio and the booth for dropping out inappropriate lyrics without disturbing the flow of music

The button layout reflects that of the SC3900 with a bank of Loops and Cues at the top left of the platter for throwing down samples and navigation controls ensuring the fastest access to the DJing essentials at the top right
