Enjoy convenient home recording and versatile connectivity with the UMC404HD from Behringer, a 4×4 USB audio interface that offers up to 192 kHz sampling at 24 bits. With four XLR-1/4″ combo inputs with high-quality Midas preamps, you can capture detailed sound from a range of audio sources, including mics, line signals, and Hi-Z instruments.

With 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O, you can connect your interface to a wide range of external MIDI devices, and synchronize everything through your UMC4024HD. Four 1/4″ inserts let you integrate external FX with ease. Controls include individual input gain control for each input channel, output gain control, line or Hi-Z input level selection, input pad activation, and selectable 48V phantom power for condenser mics. You can enjoy mono or stereo headphone monitoring with the stereo/mono button, and with the Monitor A/B button you can engage in source selection for DJ-style cueing. The front panel provides LED indicators for input signal, power, clipping, and phantom power. With a durable metal chassis, this interface is designed to survive the test of time. The UMC404HD includes an external power adapter, which is ideal when using more than two phantom-powered mics.

Zero-Latency Monitoring
The UMC404HD mix control allows zero-latency direct monitoring, which means musicians can experience their performance clearly, with no delay or lag in the returning signal for better performance and recording. You can engage in A/B comparisons with the playback outputs or select mono or stereo monitoring modes.
Getting Connected
On the rear panel of the UMC404HD, you’ll find the USB 2.0 port, for simple and easy connection to your computer, along with plenty of analog playback options including 1/4″ TRS, stereo RCA, and XLR. The UMC404HD features four 1/4″ TRS analog inserts for use with external effects, such as compressors, gates, EQs, etc. Built-in 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O allows you to connect keyboards and all your favorite outboard MIDI hardware.
