Dynamic FX Processor and Sampler

Take a hands-on approach to your musical creativity with the Korg Kaoss Pad V, a tactile and expressive FX processor and sampler sporting dual-touch control on its XY pad to dynamically adjust two FX parameters at once. With a new advanced voice engine and voice-to-MIDI feature, you can enjoy powerful vocal processing and control synths and other MIDI gear using only your vocal pitch.

Like previous iterations of the Kaoss Pad, the Kaoss Pad V sports integrated sampling, including real-time looping and overdubs, BPM-synced sampling and Step Hold, and multiple playback modes. A mic / line / Hi-Z input lets you easily process any sound source, from vocals to passive instruments. With USB audio interfacing and 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O, you can connect to modern and legacy hardware with ease. The unit also features RCA line I/O and a headphone output. The Kaoss Pad V features 300 onboard presets with 200 factory presets and 100 user slots. Expanded storage is supported via the SD/SDHC memory-card port, which supports up to 32GB cards. With both new and classic Kaoss Pad sounds, you’ll lose yourself in hours of creative fun at home or onstage.

Voice-to-MIDI Function
An exciting new feature of the Kaoss Pad V is the voice-to-MIDI functionality, which allows you to control MIDI hardware with the pitch of your voice. This unique feature opens up completely new creative possibilities, and with the integrated MIDI I/O and USB connectivity, almost any piece of MIDI-capable hardware can be controlled with your voice. When you just want to enhance your vocal performance, the Kaoss Pad V sports numerous types of vocal transformers and FX, including harmonies, vocoder, and pitch morphing.
Two Fingers, Total Control

Real-Time Looping and Sampling
Real-time sampling and loop productions is easier than ever. Record and overdub on the fly with BPM-locked precision. When you want to freeze an effect or sample, the Step Hold button locks the sounds to your chosen BPM, so what you create is always in lock step with your track.
