With twice the output of the KH 810 II, the KH 870 II AES67 is engineered for large rooms where maximum headroom and precision are essential. Featuring the same 7.1.4 Bass Manager as the KH 810 II, it is an ideal solution for multichannel and immersive formats, offering seamless integration with all KH Line studio monitors—including large systems like the KH 420. For music, broadcast, and postproduction facilities, the KH 870 II AES67 delivers uncompromised headroom, accuracy, and clarity with the added flexibility of AoIP connectivity.
AES67 Integration for Networked Workflows
The KH 870 II AES67 offers the same outstanding acoustic performance as the standard model while integrating directly into AoIP infrastructures. It supports 12 AES67 input channels, which can be reproduced by the subwoofer itself and up to 11 connected studio monitors via analog or AES3 (BNC) digital outputs. With this capability, the KH 870 II AES67 serves as the hub for your entire stereo, surround, or immersive setup. Redundant AES67 audio network ports ensure reliability and are fully compliant with professional broadcast standards such as ST 2110, ST 2022-7 redundancy, and RAVENNA, while also supporting DANTE-generated AES67 streams.
Dual 10″ Drivers, Extended Bass
The KH 870 II AES67 houses two front-firing 10″ drivers in a robust enclosure, delivering bass extension down to 16 Hz with high SPL capability. Compared to the KH 810, its dual-driver design provides significantly more output, allowing your main loudspeakers to play at higher levels with lower distortion. Carefully engineered front bass ports reduce turbulence and allow flexible placement near walls or flush-mounted installations without compromising performance.
Advanced DSP and Room Correction
The KH 870 II AES67 subwoofer integrates an advanced DSP engine for precise system alignment, offering clarity and consistency in any setup. In addition, it is fully compatible with MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment (sold separately), providing professional-grade room correction not only for the subwoofer itself, but also for connected analog KH Line monitors.
