Classic Analog Bass Synthesizer Module

Generate your favorite synth bass tones with the Behringer TORO, a classic analog bass synthesizer that features the authentic recreation of circuits from the legendary Moog Taurus bass synth. The instrument sports an all-analog VCO, VCF, and VCA signal path for larger-than-life bass and lead tones. The dual VCOs can be blended via balance control, while the classic Moog ladder filter provides the highly coveted sound with cutoff and emphasis (resonance) controls.

TORO includes four presets (Toro, Tuba, Bass, and Variable) and includes a glide function with an amount slider and on/off button. There are CV, Gate, and Filter CV inputs for interfacing with any external control. Up to 16 units can be polychained allowing for up to 32-voice polyphony. The TORO is Eurorack compatible and can be removed from its desktop case and fitted into a standard Eurorack case (not included). A 12 VDC power adapter is included.

True to Original

Being able to deliver huge, detuned sounds thanks to its 2 VCOs, allows the TORO to instantly produce that classic earthshaking rumble of the original. The TORO isn’t just great for getting great bass sounds. Thanks to its 5-octave range, you can also get some nice searing lead sounds.
Modulation
The TORO comes with 4 sound presets starting with the classic Toro, Tuba, and Bass presets, which have been carefully recreated to sound just like the original, and Variable, which gives you access to all controls, so you can shape and fine-tune your sound.
Easy Connections and Control
Each of the front-panel controls on the TORO have remained faithful to the original such as Filter and Loudness knobs, a Tune control, and the classic Beat knob. Also included are individual CV, Filter, and Gate inputs, as well as full MIDI implementation.
Eurorack Ready
The TORO is designed to fit into a standard Eurorack case. Just connect the power cables to the power supply, and mount the module using the included screws. This allows for the TORO to be mixed with other synth modules for a truly unique setup.
