Like all of Warm Audio’s pro audio gear, the Skylight mic is designed to produce a great sound without gratuitous tweaking after the recording.

It boasts a large-diaphragm gold-plated condenser capsule and a 5 kHz treble boost, yielding a combination of balanced midrange, inviting lows, and extra brightness to make your voice stand out. Skylight’s directional cardioid polar pattern captures your voice with far less background noise than omnidirectional and figure-8 mics, and loud sounds such as shouts and screams won’t distort the mic. The included low-profile shockmount decouples the microphone from stand-borne vibrations that can cause low-end rumble while the custom pop filter reduces vocal plosives such as strong “p” sounds. As a condenser mic, it requires phantom power, so be sure to connect its XLR 3-pin output to a mic preamp that can supply +48V.
