Audient Console Mic Preamps
The two mic preamps have been designed by David Dearden for the 8024 consoles and have been optimised over the years delivering a clean and smooth tone associated with Audient’s mixing desks.
Using a high-grade hybrid discrete Class A and op-amp design, these microphone preamplifiers deliver up to 70dB of clean and transparent gain with just a subtle hint of warmth imparted by the op-amp. It also includes a wide bandwidth to preserve transient detail in your audio. True phantom power is provided over USB to ensure optimal audio performance.
A JFET DI input is also featured to let you plug-in your guitar or bass instrument directly into the ID14 letting you record instantly.
Improved conversion
The iD4 MkII features improved conversion over the previous generation with impressive performance. With a dynamic range of 120dB and a THD+N of 0.001% on the analogue to digital conversion and 126dB and a THD+N 0.0005% on the digital to analogue conversion, this audio interface will let users hear their audio more accurately.
Flexible Monitor Control
The desktop format allows the ID14 to stand right next to you and the console-style monitor section gives you the most important features for your monitoring including DIM, Cut, Polarity reversal, Mono Sum, talkback and Cue Mix monitoring. Any of these functions can be assigned to the ID button. The main knob lets you control the overall monitoring level. Moreover, the main knob can also be employed to control your plugins for more hands-on control.
Extensive connectivity
In addition to its two mic preamps, four output, headphone amps and JAck input, the iD14 includes an optical port capable of supporting ADAT or S/PDIF giving up to eight additional channels. Combined with their ASP008 or ASP800, it is possible to create a 10×6 recording system, ideal for recording larger projects such as drums or small bands.
ARC Bundle
The iD14 comes bundled with a suite of creative software to get started immediately. The ARC suite is composed of Cubase LE and Cubasis LE 3, Retrologue synthesizer, M-Tron Pro, Torpedo Wall of Sound Amp simulator, Subito Piano, and Waldorf Edition 2 LE. An additional 3 free courses are also provided courtesy of Produce Like a Pro Academy.
