Standalone 2-Deck Smart DJ Console with 7″ Touchscreen

DJs looking for a professional standalone 2-deck DJ system will be impressed by the Denon DJ Prime 2, a professional standalone, 2-deck mobile, club, and event DJ console that is powered by the Engine OS and is Wi-Fi enabled for music streaming services. The Prime 2 does not require a laptop computer, can analyze tracks directly from the Engine OS, and provides extensive media source and compatibility, allowing for collections from iTunes, Serato DJ, Traktor and rekordbox to be read without the need of a computer. Simply insert a flash or SD drive, and the Engine OS will read and display all playlists, hot cues, loops, and more. The integrated 7″ multi-touch, multi-gesture screen and 6″ jog wheels with color displays provide a ton of interactive feedback allowing for expressive EQ, FX, and creative workflow controls. PRIME 2 is your essential mobile DJ workhorse.

The rugged meal enclosure is built to handle the rigors of on-the-road wear and tear. The rear panel includes a multitude of inputs and outputs including two RCA line-level inputs for adding an auxiliary audio source such as a tablet, phone, or mobile music device. Two high-performance combo microphone inputs (XLR-1/4″) with gain, 3-band EQ, and talkover allow you to integrated performers, MCs, and announcers. For outputs, the Prime 2 provides balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA master L/R, as well as balanced XLR Booth outputs. Use Prime 2’s StagelinQ connection to easily create impactful, visually dynamic lighting and video scenes via Denon DJ’s partnerships with Soundswitch, TimeCode, and Resolume.

Touchscreen Interface

PRIME 2’s, 7″ multitouch, multi-gesture display gives DJs fingertip control of music library navigation, search, and track load. Large color waveforms and essential DJ workflow information is shown as well as access to PRIME 2’s preferences and performance customization.

A purpose-built embedded software platform built for DJs offering you super-fast track load times, intuitive navigation, management, and search, so you can be at your creative best. Standalone Digital Media + Streaming

Multiple (USB/SD) media sources and a built-in SATA drive bay give DJs unlimited music access plus onboard recording. PRIME 2 is also enabled for WiFi internet connectivity, enabling streaming playback from Beatport LINK, Beatsource LINK, SoundCloud GO+, TIDAL, and even Dropbox.
