The Rane DJ Seventy mixer is the latest addition to their solid steel, Serato DJ battle-ready mixer family. Built utilising features made famous across the Rane range, the Seventy introduces unique new features and an intuitive workflow that helps you meet your DJing potential. Protected with a robust, portable design, the Seventy is designed for frequent use in club environments.
The Seventy introduces three ultra-light MAG FOUR faders that allow for precise control and hands-on mixing experience. Whilst being the lightest Rane mixer to date, the Seventy offers high-quality patented technology along with external crossfader tension-adjust. The Seventy also provides 16 Akai Professional, dual-layer MPX pads. These offer independent mode controls per deck including hot cue, pitch’n time, saved loops, sampler, roll and transport.
The Seventy also has multiple mixer mainstays including 3-band isolator EQ, dedicated high/low pass filters per channel; Serato playlist navigation and control dual diecast aluminium FX paddles. Edits made whilst performing can be visually monitored using the bright OLED display. With all of this at your fingertips, the Rane Seventy is the only mixer you’ll ever need.
A range of controls
The Seventy introduces three ultra-light MAG FOUR faders that allow for precise control and a hands-on mixing experience. Also provided are 16 Akai Professional dual-layer MPC pads per deck with a variety of independent mode controls per deck including hot cue, pitch‘n time, saved loops, sampler, roll and transport.
FX, loops and instant doubles
The Seventy ensures your workflow can be streamlined, putting a range of tools at your disposable to get hands-on with the music. The layout of the Seventy includes six, radio-style FX buttons that give instant access to the internal post-fader Flex FX and Serato DJ software FX. These dual dedicated loop sections and instant double buttons are laid out for immediate access.
Everything you’d expect from a professional mixer
As well as the new, intuitive features, the Seventy mixer includes controls that you would expect to find on a DJ mixer. These include a 3-band isolator EQ, plus dedicated high/low pass filters per channel; Serato playlist navigation and control; dual diecast aluminium FX paddles with 180-degree rotation and a radiant OLED display for accurate visual feedback of core mixer parameters. Combine this with the class-leading signal-to-noise ratio of 114dB and you’ll soon realise your potential with the Seventy.
Multiple connectivity options
Ideal for travelling performers, the Seventy has connection options for every environment. Two DJs can perform simultaneously with seamless handovers via the unit’s dual USB connections. Performance-driven connectivity, including switchable Phono/CD inputs per deck, an RCA aux line input per deck and an RCA Session input/output for battle teams, means you’ll be able to perform whatever the setting. Other connectivity options include balanced XLR master outputs, dual 3.5mm and ¼-inch headphone outputs, and ¼-inch jack booth outputs. The Seventy also integrates easily with other DJ equipment and turntables by featuring assignable USB controller inputs.
