Combining the powers of a digital mixer and multitrack recorder with analog-style control, the Zoom LiveTrak L12next is a 12-channel digital mixer with integrated 14-channel recording and 14×4 USB-C interface functionality. Sporting five independent output mixes for five monitoring destinations, the L12next is ideal for live performances and streaming.

Each mono input channel features a 60mm fader, three multifunctional encoder knobs for analog-style gain, EQ, compression, panning, or FX send control, mute, solo, and pad control. 48V phantom power can be activated in groups of four. Hi-Z mode can be switched on for each mono channel for passive instrument inputs like guitars and electric keyboards. An OLED screen streamlines digital control. The recorder can capture 14 tracks in up to 24-bit / 96 kHz, recording to either the internal memory or an SD card, and stereo master bus capture can be performed in crisp 32-bit float. 16 onboard FX keep things lively and creative, with useful reverbs and delays that are ideal for live rehearsals and performances. The mixer also supports wireless mix control via the L12next Control app.

Easy Control
The L12next combines the power of a digital mixer with analog-style operation. Three knobs per channel deliver High/Mid/Low EQ, and with a simple switch, you can adjust gain, pan, and sends, offering hands-on mixing like a classic analog console.
Everything You Need on Every Channel
The L12next puts you in total control, letting you mix with speed and confidence, whether you’re on stage or in the rehearsal room. In addition to 60mm faders, each channel has three multi-function encoder knobs, giving you analog style control of gain, EQ, compression, panning, and sends. No more scrolling through menus.
Upgraded Preamps
The L12next’s upgraded preamps deliver clean gain (+70 dB), low noise (-128 dBu EIN), and full input flexibility with Hi-Z, pad, and +48 V phantom power.
Audio Interface and Control Surface
The L12next is a 14-in/4-out USB-C audio interface for Mac, Windows, and mobile, supporting 24-bit / 96 kHz recording and playback. Record to computer and SD card simultaneously, sync tracks, and even control your DAW.
Perfect Takes
Newly added features such as Overdub mode and Auto Punch In/Out allow precise layering and easy re-recording. The new File Select button allows you to easily load additional tracks to expand your mix.
Capture Your Perfect Final Mix
The L12next’s master channel captures your mix in 32-bit float for pristine, clip-free sound, while the master compressor adds warm, natural compression that enhances the overall mix.
Monitoring Options
Five Personal Mixes
With five independent Monitor Outs, every musician can have a personal mix. Outputs support stereo for headphones and in-ears, or mono for stage monitors, making it flexible for live or studio use.
For the Sound Guy
The sound engineer’s output lets you quickly monitor and adjust both the master and each monitor out mix. Use the built-in Talkback function for easy communication between the engineer and musicians.
Custom Scene Recall
The L12next stores up to 10 scene memories, saving fader positions, EQ, pan, mutes, effects, and more. Instantly recall mixes for live performances or recording in the studio.
LED Meters
The L12next’s LED meters show the volume level of each channel and setting of each encoder. The new Fader Position button lets you quickly view saved fader positions when recalling scenes.
