Shure SLXD4D+

The SLXD4D+ delivers clear, accurate 24-bit digital audio with greater than 118 dB of dynamic range across both receiver channels. A wide tuning range of up to 138 MHz (regionally dependent) provides broad geographical coverage and simplified frequency coordination. The receiver supports up to 11 simultaneous systems per 6 MHz TV band and up to 14 systems per 8 MHz TV band, making it well suited for scalable multi-channel deployments.

Integrated ShowLink Ease technology enables two-way communication between the SLXD4D+ receiver and compatible SLX-D+ transmitters. Once linked, transmitters automatically stay in sync with the receiver across power cycles and RF changes. Engineers can remotely change transmitter frequency, adjust gain, lock or unlock controls, automatically deploy new clean frequencies when interference is detected, link a second transmitter to a receiver channel, and perform over-the-air firmware updates—without physically accessing the transmitters.

Patented Shure Digital Feedback Reduction (DFR) software is embedded directly into the SLXD4D+ receiver. DFR automatically detects and suppresses feedback using dynamic notch filtering, improving clarity and system stability across both channels in live sound environments where acoustics and microphone placement may be unpredictable.

Shure offers a variety of SLX-D+ transmitter choices, depending on your needs and preferences. For a discreet hands-free option, the SLXD1+ bodypack features a lightweight and ergonomic ABS chassis with a TA4M input connector that can accommodate a wide variety of lavalier and headset microphones, as well as instrument cables for guitar and bass players. For presenters and performers looking for a handheld option, the SLXD2+ offers a durable aluminum housing and an interchangeable capsule design. Available microphone capsules include the SM58, Beta 58A, Beta 87A, KSM8, Nexadyne 8/C, and Nexadyne 8/S. Rounding out the lineup, SLXD3+ plug-on transmitter allows you to use any XLR microphone and features phantom power for condensers.

The SLXD4D+ supports audio summing, allowing the dual-channel receiver to function as a compact two-channel mixer for streamlined output routing, if desired. Each SLX-D+ receiver ships with AES-256 encryption enabled for secure wireless transmission. The SLXD4D+ features a rugged metal half-rack chassis-a rackmounting kit is included—designed for reliable operation in touring, installed, and broadcast environments, providing a stable foundation for professional dual-channel wireless audio systems.
