Solid State Logic X-Rack Dynamic Module XR618

The SSL X-Rack SuperAnalogue Dynamics Module XR618 is a mono dynamics channel processor designed to work with the popular X-Rack format.

Like all the products in the range, the Solid State Logic X-Rack Dynamics processor will suit anyone who cares about their sounds, whether you are working in a project studio or looking for that classic SSL sound to carry with you to different sessions.

The SuperAnalogue Dynamics Module is fitted with an adaptable compressor and limiter, capable of being switched between hard- and soft-knee characteristics, as well as showing RMS or peak levels. A 3ms fast attack mode can also be introduced at the touch of a button – allowing you to bite down hard, just when you need it. In addition, the XR618 Dynamics Module contains a powerful noise gate, also with a switchable fast attack capability, to keep the sound clean and uncluttered, with all switch settings clearly indicated by LEDs.

Using the SuperAnalogue circuitry SSL developed for their AWS and Duality consoles, an X-Rack Dynamics Module delivers all the ultra low-noise, sophisticated dynamic control you’d expect from a world beating mixing desk. And don’t forget the Total Recall capability, either – you can bring back the best settings from the last session, at the touch of a button.
